Uses of Nickel Round Bar
Nickel is a chemical element and metal that is used to make steel stronger. A nickel alloy round bar refers to any round bar made of nickel and one or more other metals. Examples include alloy 600 and Hastelloy® X round bars.
Due to nickel’s high strength-to-weight ratio, nickel is used in a variety of industries including Power Generation, Medical and Dental, Oil and Gas, and mining applications. The alloy bar is inflexible, resistant to corrosion, and is also ideal for construction, aerospace, automotive, and electronics applications.
Inconel® 600 round bars can be used in chemical processing equipment, gas turbine components, heat exchangers, and furnace components. Within the aerospace industry, round bars can be used in engine and exhaust components because of their resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and mechanical stress.
